Introducing the ECSSMini2022 Organising Committee

An event like ECSSMini2022 doesn’t just run itself but needs a keen team of volunteers behind it.

As a joint event between the ECSS Network of SSA, SECS of NZSA, and the SSA WA Branch, we have representatives from all of these on the Organising Committee:

• Daniela Vasco (Co-Chair). Daniela is Research Fellow at Griffith University and also the chair of the SSA ECSSN.
• Jie Kang (Co-Chair). Jie is completing his PhD at the University of Otago, working as the genetic evaluation specialist at Beef and Lamb New Zealand, and a NZ SECS National Representative.
• Lucy Conran (Co-Chair). Lucy is completing her PhD at the University of Western Australia, and is the ECSS representative on the SSA WA Branch Council.
• Shih Ching Fu. Shih Ching is a biostatistician based at Curtin University and Secretary of the SSA WA Branch.
• Rory Ellis. Rory is a Research Statistician at Fonterra and a NZ SECS National Representative.
• Jodi Philips. Jodi is the Event Coordinator for the SSA.
• Marie-Louise Rankin. Marie-Louise is the Executive Officer of the SSA.
